We were one of the 1st registered breeders to breed the Morkie Poo at least in Ontario. Our idea and goal for this leg of our breeding program was to calm down the dominance / stubborn traits that may be present with some Morkies (due to the Yorkshire Terrier traits that passed along through the lines) while maintaining the confidence of the Morkie. Poodles are notoriously intelligent, have a non shedding coat & are considered hypo allergenic....so introducing the poodle into the Morkie lines would not affect any of the positive traits of the Morkie. Our goal is always to produce happy, healthy, intelligent family pets.
Morkie Poo's range in size from 6-12 lbs ...and while some of our Morkie Poo's coats mature long, silky and straight the majority maintain the fluffy coat that morkies have as pups before the coat goes straight.
Morkie Poo's are robust & love to play, run and jog. They are loving social companions. Morkie Poos do great with children and are highly recommended for families with children looking to add a perfect pet.
